How to Choose a Lacrosse Goal
While they’re both designed to catch shots, lacrosse goals for practice and game use actually vary quite a bit.
If you’re planning to use the goal in your backyard or out on the practice field, look for a goal that folds up. Lightweight and portable, folding goals are not only easy to move into position for different drills, but are also much easier to store when not in use.

For official game play, we recommend choosing a much more heavy-duty goal. Goals with thicker steel piping and welded corners are much heavier than their fold-up counterparts, meaning goalies will be less likely to move them during games. Plus, their stronger nets can withstand even faster shots.
